Selection Assessments

  • The Achiever - for sales, supervisory, management, technical, engineering or other (non-hourly) jobs - ascertains whether the applicant has the aptitudes and behaviors required to successfully perform the job, based on the company’s own most successful people in that job, the job description, or Achievement Tec’s industrial data base, which is comprised of individuals other employers consider most successful in that job category. The Achiever is available as a Sales Achiever, where the report narrative introduces terms and traits specific to the sales arena. And for those senior positions, where strong leadership is important, we have enhanced the Achiever by incorporating several elements specific to leadership and management potential, in the Executive Achiever.
  • Other selection assessments contained in this component are – The Guardian for mid-level or hourly administrative positions, and The Scoreboard and The Performer, – for lower level, entry, hourly and other blue-collar jobs.

Learning Needs Assessments

  • The Career Competency – Highly in-depth and detailed, covers 16 competencies.
  • Three knowledge reports – Sales Knowledge, Customer Service Knowledge and Leadership Knowledge.

Each Learning Needs Assessment provides a narrative explaining the individual's strengths and "learning needs", along with a score pattern that benchmarks where the individual is now. Online learning modules contained in the system are recommended in the report. If the employer subscribes to online learning, the employer can "click" on a recommendation in his or her report, and be linked directly to that learning module.

Specific "development needs" books are also recommended in the report, where applicable. An individual receiving a report for which a book has been recommended can "click" and be linked to information about the recommended book, or order the book online using a credit card as an option.
