Measuring Sales Potential

View sample report

Whether your company offers a product or a service, is Business-to-Business or Business-to-Consumer, a small specialty company or expansive, multi-level corporation, someone must sell. Considering the substantial roll of the professional sales individual, we have modified The Achiever to focus on those traits and habits that contribute to success in the sales arena.

The Sales Achiever defines the six Mental Aptitudes and ten Personality Dimensions of the Achiever in terms relating to closing, cold calling, prospecting, overcoming objections, and more – giving the Sales Manager a highly efficient and reliable means to compare sales candidates.

The narrative report explains each aptitude and personality dimension that is being assessed and how the individual has scored in each. Additionally, a summary chart offers a pictorial analysis of the individual’s actual scores compared to the desirable benchmarks for a specific sales position. These benchmarks may be derived for an individual company by assessing their own successful salespeople in that job, or you may compare them to any number of concurrently validated positions in our database of people who are have proven their success in similar jobs.

The Sales Achiever also offers a Sales Analysis, identifying the person’s strongest areas, as well as those areas the person could benefit from developing, based on the following five elements of selling:

  1. Developing rapport
  2. Identifying a need or desire
  3. Presenting the product/service to fill prospect’s needs
  4. Dealing with objections
  5. Closing the sale

As in the Achiever, the Sales Achiever offers a Self-Development Agenda based on the individual’s recognized areas of training needs. And the behavioral-based Interview Questions offer the interviewer a list of specific queries as they relate to the areas of concerns highlighted by the assessment.

The daunting task of hiring highly skilled professional sales people, who stay the course, is simplified by this online assessment, designed to highlight the sales traits in this highly competitive field.
