Becki, I can not thank you and Bill Hall enough for recommending Achievement Tec as a screening tool for new sales people. We have used their services for over 5 years and have found them to be 110% on target when it comes to their personality testing for new sales people.
Human Resources in not a strong point with small firms with limited overhead budgets. Their profiles have saved me thousands and thousands of dollars in both hiring costs and salaries and time. My fellow ESI IVX and IP Dealers buddies might benefit by the insights that you shared with us and I suggest that you might mention this program in one of your ESI Salesgrams.

I have always tested my warehouse people, only because my supervisor knows very little about hiring. Recently, over lunch with LD, I complained that I'm tired of hiring Store Managers who never turn out the way their resumes indicate they should. LD convinced me to try the Achiever, and I can't believe the difference. Our new Store Manager is exactly the type of person we have always looked for, but never found. Now, I test all of my salespeople.

I wasn't really into testing when we implemented it last year, and what testing we actually did was very sporadic. Recently, I noticed that many of the truck drivers we hired last Fall were not doing well. We went back and looked at the test results of any who had been tested, and I suddenly realized that we never should have hired them to begin with. The answers were right there in the test result. We are now going forward to make sure that all divisions are using this tool, and we are going to expand it to our other jobs.
